Statement / I
Trained in sculpture, dimidium works through mass, surface and negative space—moving between physical matter and visual systems. Each study starts with a material question: what can be removed, compressed, folded or left unresolved? The result is less an object than a record of pressure and decision.
A weight held open by a cut.
The absent centre carries the form.
A surface remembers every fold.
What remains becomes the work.
Removal establishes the first boundary.
A void becomes a tool for repetition.
Separate tensions are made to coexist.
Pixels behave as dust, heat and trace.
